They get their own version of 'Tap Tap Revenge' game

Nine Inch Nails are releasing their own iPhone application.

The band will have a custom-made version of the popular 'Tap Tap Revenge', a rhythm music game in the vein of 'Guitar Hero'.

Frontman Trent Reznor announced on Ninblogs.wordpress.com that a special version featuring Nine Inch Nails' music was imminent, with developers Tapulous since confirming the news.

They today (October 1) confirmed that the edition will go on sale later this month for $4.99 (£2.50) in the USA. It will feature 16 tracks from the band's most recent albums, 'The Slip' and 'Ghosts I-IV', many of them specially edited or mixed.

According the the developers it will have "that special NIN look and feel".
