Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey to perform at first Grammy Nominations concert

LL Cool J will announce nominees
Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey, BB King, Celine Dion and John Mayer are among the artists set to perform at the first-ever Grammy Nominations Concert.
The event is scheduled to take place on December 3 at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, and will be broadcbast on CBS television that night.
LL Cool J and Taylor Swift will host the event, which marks the first time the Grammy nominations will be announced live on primetime television.
The event will also celebrate the grand opening of the Grammy Museum at the downtown Los Angeles entertainment complex that houses the Nokia Theatre, Club Nokia and the Staples Center, where the Grammy Awards are held each year.
Tickets to the event are available via Ticketmaster and proceeds will benefit the Grammy Museum.
The 51st Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles on February 8, 2009.
